1. Dhom Dam

The Dhoom Dam is an earth fill and gravity dam build across the Krishna river near Wai. Its official name is Dhom Dam D02958. The primary purpose of this dam was to Irrigation and generated Hydroelectricity. This dam generates 4MG electricity from the basement electricity house. The height of the dam is 50 meters, and the length is 2,478 meters.

2. Kanher Dam

The Kanher Dam is an earth-fill and gravity dam build across the Wenna river near Satara. The primary purpose of this dam was to Irrigation and generated Hydroelectricity. The height of the dam is 50.34 meters, and the length is 1,954 meters.

3. Koyna Dam

The Koyna Dam is a Rubble-concrete dam build across the Koyna river near Koyna Nagar. Its official name is Koyna Dam D05104. The primary purpose of this dam was to Irrigation and generated Hydroelectricity. It is one of the largest dam in India. This dam is having a total installed capacity of 1,960 MW. The height of the dam is 103.2 meters, and the length is 807.2 meters.

4. Mhaswad Dam

The Mhaswad Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Maan river near Maan. It’s also named Rajewadi Dam. The primary purpose of this dam was to Irrigation. The height of the dam is 24 meters, and the length is 2,473 meters.

5. Morana Dam

The Morana Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Morana river near Patan. It’s also named Gureghar Dam. The primary purpose of this dam was to Irrigation. The height of the dam is 47.02 meters, and the length is 420 meters.
