1. Ambadi Dam

The Ambadi Dam is an earthfill dam constructed across the Sivana River near Kannad. This dam’s primary function was for Irrigation. The dam is 20 meters high and 2,210 meters long.

2. Anjanapalshi Dam

The Anjanapalshi Dam is an earth-filled dam constructed across the Anjana River near Kannad. The primary aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 19.4 meter, and the length is 1,952 meter.

3. Bor Dahegaon Dam

Bor Dahegaon Dam is the earth-fill dam. Built on the local river at Vaijapur. The official name is Bor Dahegaon Dam D03074. The primary aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 16.7 meters, and the length is 1000 meters.

4. Dheku Dam

The Dheku Dam is an earth-filled dam constructed across the Dheku River near Vaijapur. The official name is Dheku Dam D01120. The main aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 20 meters and the length 2,421 meters.

5. Girija Dam

The Girija Dam is an earth-filled dam constructed across the river Girija near Khultabad. Its official name is Girija Dam D02846. This dam’s primary function was for Irrigation. The dam is 19.1 meters high and 3,060 meters long.

6. Jayakwadi Dam

The Jayakwadi Dam is an earth-fill dam constructed across the River Godavari, near the village of Jayakwadi in Paithan Taluka. The official name is Jayakwadi-I D02995. NathSagar is another name for this dam. The main aim of this project was agriculture, drinking, and industrial use. The dam has a gross installed capacity of 12 MW. The height of the dam is 41.30 meters, and the length is 9,998 meters. It is one of the largest irrigation dams in the state of Maharastra.

7. Narangi Dam

It is an earth-fill dam on the Vaijapur river. Its official name is the Narangi Dam D03100. Vaijapur is another name for this dam. The primary aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 16.5 meters.

8. Purnaneopur Dam

It is an earthfill dam on the Purna River near Kannad. Its official name is Purnaeopur Dam D03045. The primary aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 16.6 Meters, and the length is 2,725 Meters. The height and length of the dam 16.6 by 2,725 meters.

9. Shivana Takli Dam

The Shivana Dam is an earth-filled dam constructed across the Shivna River near Kannad. Its official name is Shivan Takli Dam D03058. The primary aim of this project was irrigation. The height of the dam is 17.7 meters, and the length 4,524 meters.

10. Sukhana Dam

It is an earthfill dam on the Sukhana River near Garkheda village. Its official name is Sukhana Dam D01218. The height of the dam is 16.92 meters, and the length is 446 meters.

11. Tembhapuri Dam

The Tembhapuri Dam is an earth-fill dam constructed over the nearby Aurangabad Nagzari River. Its official name is Tembhapuri Dam D02917. Irrigation is the primary purpose of the construction of this dam. The dam is 16.42 meters high and 5,300 meters long.

12. Wakod Dam

It is an earth-fill dam on the Nagzari river. Its official name is Wakod dam D03130. Irrigation is the primary purpose of the construction of this dam. The dam is 14.28 meters high and 2,975 meters tall.
