Dams in Washim District

The Washim district is situated in the state of Maharashtra. There are 5 dams in Washim. The list of dams in Washim district is as follows

1. Adan Dam

The Adol Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Adola river near Borala. Irrigation is primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 18.47 meters, and the length is 1,725 meters of the dam.

3. Ekburji Dam

The Ekburji Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Chandrabhaga river. Its official name is Ekburji Dam D01207. Irrigation and Water Supply are primary purposes behind this dam. The height is 23.7 meters, and the length is 830 meters of the dam.

4. Sonal Dam

The Sonal Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Aran river near Mangrulpir. Its official name is Sonal Dam D01374. Irrigation is primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 19.6 meters, and the length is 1,114 meters of the dam.

5. Wathod Reservoir

The Wathod Dam is near Manora town. The height is 16.6 meters, and the length is 290 meters of the dam.
