Dams in Raigad District

1. Dolwahal Dam

The Dolwahal Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Kundlika river near Roha. It is also called Weir Dam. Its official name is Dolwahal Dam D03733. Irrigation and Water Supply is the primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 12.5 meters, and the length is 543 meters of the dam.

2. Hetwane Dam

The Hetwane Dam is an earth-fill dam build across the Bhogeshwari river near Pen. Its official name is Hetwane Dam D03050. Irrigation and Water Supply is the primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 48.2 meters, and the length is 675 meters of the dam.

3. Morbe Dam

The Morbe Dam is a Gravity dam build across the Dhavari river near Khalapur. Its official name is Morbe Dam D04373. Water Supply is the primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 59.1 meters, and the length is 3,420 meters of the dam.

4. Savatri Dam

The Savatri Dam is a Gravity dam build across the Savitri river near Poladpur. Its official name is Savitri Dam D04776. Water Supply is the primary purpose behind this dam. The height is 33.62 meters, and the length is 320 meters of the dam.
